When someone says to us that they have nothing to bill medical I always bring up exams.
Not just our usual exams that dental covers but also third, fourth, fifith, and more exams on the year that dental insurance will not cover. How about post op exams that are routinely done for free? Exams for patients that only have medical insurance and no dental insurance. Exams for when our patients have maxed out their policy.
These may be small claims in dollar amount but they sure add up.
